Diary of a haggard mother: mothers day memories

I always seem to keep my cards out for as long as possible, but today I started to move them to make way for our Easter wishes. My card from my youngest caught my eye and I remembered her little poem and figured I would share it with you.

She’s quite the poet, but not so much a conventional one!

roses are red, violets are blue, (sorry about this), I like to pee in the toilet, so you should too!

from Hollie, p.s some mummy fun!

  1. There are lot’s of worse places she could like to pee. 😉 My kids get a kick out of potty humor too. The other day, my son was saying that it was a “poopy” Wednesday. I asked him “Why? Did you go poop today? If you put it that way, almost every day is poopy.” They thought that was hilarious.

  2. Too cute! I have to ask…where do you pee Teresa??? Have you had a Mother’s Day on your side of the pond? Funny how it’s not a universal date. It just so happens that as I read this post, my little Emma is once again by my side. When she peeked over at the screen, she asked if you were the one with the chickens and the little boy who wrote his mom a poem about her bum. I replied in the affirmative and just had to read her your new poem. Needless to say, she got the giggles out of this one! Hope you had a GREAT Mummy Day!!
